PDL BioPharma Inc. is a biopharmaceutical company focused on the discovery and development of novel antibodies in oncology and immunologic diseases. It receives royalties and other revenues through licensing agreements with various biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies based on its antibody humanization technology platform. These licensing agreements have contributed to the development by the Company?s licensees of nine marketed products.
