Business Description:

Carrington Laboratories, Inc. (Carrington) is a research-based biopharmaceutical, medical device, raw materials and nutraceutical company engaged in the development, manufacturing and marketing of carbohydrates and other natural product therapeutics. The segments of the Company are Medical Services Division, Consumer Services Division and DelSite Biotechnologies, Inc. (DelSite). The Company sells prescription and nonprescription medical products through the Medical Services Division and provides manufacturing services to customers in medical markets. The Company through the Consumer Services Division sells consumer and raw material products and provides product development and manufacturing services to customers in the cosmetic and nutraceutical markets. DelSite operates from the research and development program and is responsible for the research, development and marketing of GelSite technology for release and delivery of bioactive pharmaceutical ingredients.
