Business Description:
Bentley Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (Bentley) is an international specialty pharmaceutical company focused on specialty generics and drug delivery. The Company's pharmaceutical product sales and licensing activities are based primarily in Spain, where it manufactures and markets approximately 200 product presentations through three wholly owned Spanish subsidiaries: Laboratorios Belmac, Laboratorios Davur and Laboratorios Rimafar. Bentley's products are in four primary therapeutic areas: cardiovascular, gastrointestinal, central nervous system and infectious diseases. The Company owns a manufacturing facility in Spain that specializes in the manufacturing of several API products. Bentley markets its API products through its Spanish subsidiary, Bentley A.P.I. In June 2008, Bentley completed the spin-off of CPEX Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (CPEX), its wholly owned subsidiary containing all of the assets and liabilities of the Company?s drug delivery business.
